These clients own a small orange cottage on Sylvan Lake built in the 1950s. They hired me to provide ideas for remodeling the main living area, kitchen and establish a style direction for the project. The main living space required as much seating as possible for family and entertaining, a television and fireplace. The bright orange exterior of the cottage inspired the concept for colour palette and materials on the interior. They love the coastal style. I mixed in some modern and mid century inspired pieces to reflect the original style of the cottage.
